I will not change my tdv8 against an supercharged Very Happy I love it... but this dpf failure goes on my nerves. i cant belive that EVERYBODY who drives an v6 or v8 diesel (or big guys with v10 / v12 touaregs and q7) need to drive every week 1 hour highway to clean the dpf.

and i will not speak about every other driver from golf 6, ford focus tdci ....

so i thing its an technical problem. i heard about this problem from other one who drives an newer diesel car but not after 40-50 km! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad RRS TDV8 Modelyear 2009 with some modifications.

This is an extract from a LR publication in 2007...

On vehicles from 2008MY, an optional Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is available. The non-DPF exhaust system is also available on vehicles from 2008MY as the DPF is not required to comply with EU4 emission regulations.  Malaysia Boleh!

I think the only way to get rid of your DPF system is to change the exhaust system to a non-DPF type and just eliminate the DPF software in the Engine Control Module... Wink Malaysia Boleh!
