It's best you get a dealer to do it - many of us have broken mirrors ourselves doing it! In fact the last time the dealer did it they also broke the mirror - let them make the mistake!

MY59 wife solved the problem by taking the job lot off clean down to the door pillar, dont know how she managed it without marking the paintwork. Mirror a right cow to change on its own, needs a lot of force on the glass to clip it in, beware purple people eater
