2 bolts each side (tight!), to remove each caliper and bracket from the strut.

Undo brake hose union at caliper.

Remove brake caliper and bracket.

1 screw and remove the brake disc

Fit new disc.

Bolt caliper to strut using same bolt holes (no bracket)

Connect brake hose and bleed.

Job done.

Apart from the hydraulics and bleeding the brakes after reconnection it is not much different to just replacing the discs...the bolts holding the brackets/Brembos to the strut have a very high torque and must be done up correctly. Cheers

sounds simple enough, mind you brakes are one thing you dont want to get wrong - might leave it to the professionals.

how do you think the stealer would feel if you rocked up with the parts and got them to fit them ?

Prob OK on an RRS as they fit them in theory to almost any version with the dynamic pack and latterly build it into the HSE spec on all engines.

They wouldn't touch a D3 though, I had mine done by a specialist but Disco3 members have had dealers decline as the Brembo isn't fitted at all to the D3.

Still fits and works fine though... Very Happy Cheers

Well the torque setting is very high (can´t remember what it is but you should find out and use the correct torque, correctly fitted these bolts do not come loose.... Cheers

I bet they have a load of wear left on them, get them on ebay or from LR dealer parts and change yourself or get a good independant, it will be a lot cheaper
