Landrover Warranty Cost

Any idea what the cost is for a landrover warranty for a Range rover sport TDV8?
Cheers,

Probably in line with the TDV6 which is about £1k a year. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

No Coco the car has a warranty until march 2011 Thumbs Up

VA, I do hope the £1000 figure is correct as when I rang them up prior to buying the TDV8 in March I was told the warranty was likely to be set around the £1900 mark. At the time the Landrover rep said because the TDV8 was so new that no warranty price had been decided but her info suggested the £1900 would not be far out?

Might give them a ring up tomorrow and find out Confused

Just get this thing right. Does it mean that you will end up paying £1900 a year after 2011 for the warranty?
What are you going to gain from it? What does it cover?

Red - I'm only guessing so it might be nearer £1900. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

My much missed 911 was covered by the superb Porsche warranty with full roadside assistance for a very reasonable £975.
I will get on the case with the warranty cost quest and report back asap.

Coko Not sure my nerves would hold up driving a Range Rover Sport without a warranty in place.
I had a Audi RS4 for around 18 months and it was out of warranty when 1 of the turbo chargers developed a fault.
As the turbos are matched I was looking at a bill for around £5000. Fortunately I managed to off load the car ultra fast and get into the 911. From that point on I have always extended the warrantys when required on my cars and it has payed dividends.

Poor people cant afford to buy cheap shoes Wink

I've just had my post sale chat with Stratstones where they tried to sell me GAP cover, tyre cover and extended warranties (?sp).
I'm sure the warranty was £800-900 which seemed OK I guess.

I have asked James Edwards about an extended warranty on my car and was advised by their service manager not to bother and save my money, I was quite happy to purchase an extended warranty but he said that most things are not covered and they had more complaints about people thinking the extended warranty covered their car like a new landrover cover..... I think I will take his advice...the man must know!

As far as I can remember, when the Porsche had its warranty extended in year 4, the level of cover was exactly the same as when the car was new. You were also allowed to renew the warranty until the car was 10 years old. That to me shows Porsche were confident of the reliability of their products?

In the case of the RRS, its broken down a total of three time in the last 10 months, which resulted in recovery vehicles. courtesy cars and the repair bills all footed by Landrover.
If the extended warranty is a waste of time, then I cant see me keeping the car past 2011.

Nothings easy Mr. Green

Good News!

The cost for a year to extend the warranty inc roadside assistance is £975
The warranty cover is EXACTLY the same level of cover as per the first 3 years Thumbs Up
