no its not that, it happens with ever vehicle. LR advises not to fit 20" wheels to TD6 models due to this.... L319 D4 HSE

I also had vibrations in steering wheel on 20"... then I did wheel position, wheel balance and everything OK.

the vibration is due to your vehicle fitted with a 'non-damped' steering rack. the only way to stop it would be to replace your steering rack with a 'damped' version. not cheap!! |

RR, this has been a well known problem for L322 since launch and was one of the reasons LR said that anybody running bigger than factory issue wheel/tire combos would immediately invalidate their warranty. The explanation I was given by a dealer was that with bigger wheels invariably people fit much lower profile tyres which have less

Well, I'm now using 19' wheels fitted with winter tyres and I confirm that my ride is noticeably smoother and that I feel less vibration both idling and at speed than my drive with the standard 20' with summer tyres. |

I have wheel vibrations at 100kmh and have just had to have a new steering rack fitted. Better but not right and in a couple of weeks I am having a new rear diff.......courtesy of LR.....all on a 9 month old 10,000 highway klm car....

I have 22's on mine and have not experienced the same vibrations as you report. Perhaps a bit more of a choppy ride on uneven roads, but that's it. Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,
