Thanks for the "half" shots of your new car nicely blended with some artistic landscape scenes!! Maybe a photography course would be better than an offroad driving course...ha ha.

I think I will have to sell my RRS now because I don't have that memory seat moving steering wheel thingy that you have....what option is that? I will order it on my new one next week....yeah right!! I am jealous of your motorised steering wheel though. I think it was originally developed for the American market, it seems to be quite common in cars there.

My girl is tucked up while I am in Malaysia for a few days. By the time I get back, you will have more kays on than I do!!

Best from KL

Its nearly 3 weeks now since she arrived. The relationship is getting stronger. I always judge a car on how easy it is to live with day to day. She has been good to live with so far, doing everything we have asked (including some light van duties moving house) and even Mrs BKHK is becoming fond of her.

Recent journeys have been between my home office and the airport, 130 km each way. Filled up as I left home and using a relatively light right foot and with a mixture of freeway, suburban, and easy city driving, when I pulled into the airport car park, she showed 8.1 litres/100km which is 35mpg. I hope she is telling me the truth.

I will verify the figures when i fill her up (figuratively speaking)!!! However, I have noticed a big difference when using a light versus heavy right foot and looking well ahead to anticipate road conditions. Remember, we have low speed limits of 100kmh on the freeway which should be close to optimum economy speed so maybe she isn't lying too much......

Clear View Pack: Front fog lamps, headlamp power wash, automatic headlamps, rain sensor, electro chromatic rear view mirrors

..i think we get the S model in the tdv6...
so wheels are options... Laughing Laughing

BKHK
Thats pretty good mileage...i have managed 14.1l/100 but the best consumption was 9.1l/100
so yeah the lead foot is a big difference...

I must say she feels a lot better now i have 1300k on the clock. The engine revs a lot freer.
but i have had it into the dealer to fix some minor things. Toyota Corolla...Sad((((

14.1.......you lead foot! Is your driving town mostly? Even in the city I can't seem t get her to drink more than 10.3.

I have just 1000km and its amazing how much freer it is now. I intend to be a lead foot soon to stretch her a little. So far no problems with mine. What's the issue with yours going back to the dealer?

I have the clear pack also it seems.

cheers
