I noticed last night that when I drove into my street, a light seemed to flash on the side I was indicating. Only happened once then stopped. Obviously intrigued at this I did the same again when sat on the drive and hey presto - I have an orange and a White light that flashes! I had a look at the headlight unit and there is a halogen bulb sitting there that seems to be the culprit.

The cornering lamp should stay on, until the indicator is cancelled.

The cornering lamps only work whilst indicating and travelling below 22mph. They are designed to light up the apex of the corner you are turning into.

thanks - both behave the same, only flash once. Is it dependent on wheel orientation as well, or just the indicator? RRS TDV6 SE Java Black +towpack +tintent +Permagrin

No, wheel orientation has no bearing on it, just indicator & road speed. |

If both behave the same maybe a fault in the control module somewhere (presuming there's a central lighting module).

If you have the Adaptive lights and you are turning, the corner lights will come on without the indicator being on Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

So what about the flashing - does that not still indicate abnormal behaviour?
