I have the (AV7500?) Rosen Headrest in my Freelander 2

They actually are replacement headrest as they are slightly larger than my standard. Each headrest has its own DVD player, but can also, by the press of a button play one DVD on to the other screen. a few more presses you get the basic games to play (think Spectrum 128, more than PS3 Laughing )

The headphones are infra red and have a switch to go between screen A or B but you can also press another button which activates the FM modulator to play through the cars stereo, this comes through loud and clear, though you can tune this to you prefered clear station of your choice.

You can tilt them to get a better view angle, adjust brightness and various other things via the remote control

I am happy with them, though one of my headphones was a bit tempremental on switching on, but a clean of the battery contacts seams to have sorted this.

My 3year old son like the headphones and knows how to switch both these and the unit on which will continue playing from where they left off.

The only problem is he shouts when he speaks if he has his headphones on (with the volume on low)

I like them, the leather matches really well and is of similar quality to the seats and they are a lot better than the screen only option that FL2 drivers are only offered.

I have also read that you can wire in a TV tuner &/or a PS3 to them, and possible via NAV-TV have whats been shown on the front screen if you so wished

edit: if your in the Leeds area at any point you could have a look at mine to see what you think (though i am away for a few days at the end of this week)

What's the typical cost for one of these?

Do they provide new headrests or do they use the existing one? Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

Cheers del boy Wink

I only like the head rest version. Roof mounted reminds me too much of sitting in an aeroplane. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"
