United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Hello everyone

I joined the furum a couple of months ago after buying a 2007 2.7TDV6 HSE in Zermatt / black leather with hybrid tv, sunroof and usual HSE 07 toys.

About 7 years ago I had Range Rover 4.6HSE - and I was really dissapointed with it - so far I'm really pleased with the RRS.

Minor mods so far:
20" supercharged alloys
grill / side vents / badges to supercharged
tinted front windows

Currently thinking about chip upgrade but a bit concerned about warranty issues.

Look forward to joining in some of the discussions!

Cheers Thumbs Up 2007 HSE 2.7TDV6 Silver

Lots and lots and lots of posts about chipping on the technical and mods sections - if you look at the top of this page there is an orange bar under the main banner, if you move your mouse over the words there they are clickable links to other parts of the forum and if you click on "Search" a new window with a search engine for the site will open, there are so many "chipping" post here that you will have a whole evening of reading if you refine your search to the Technical, General and Modifications sections. I would also suggest that you join our sister site
www.disco3.co.uk and search their techy/general and modifications section as well because the subject has been cover 1000's of times on both forums. Also Turbochip and TorqueTune are both forum sponsors, you could always email/phone them and they will give give plenty of info. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

So it isn't "just" a Supercharged then Mr. Green Welcome to the TDV8 world Dave (and to these forums)
It isn't the 0-60 that is so impressive it's the in gear acceleration that puts the "permagrin" on your face, especially when you consider the 3.1tonnes it has to get shifting - 0.5t more than a Supercharged! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim
its not just 0-60 tho' its 25-70, 50 - 90, 90 - 125 (on a private road ) in fact ANY acceleration Shocked Then theres the noise of that V8, its worth putting the boot in every few seconds just to hear that Twisted Evil

I just cannot get it all into my heid..................and i bet neither can the smirking chav an his 3 mates in their Corsa complete with the gaffa taped on wing mirror, deep base banging out some sort of 'music' (give me Sam Cooke anytime) & megaphone exhaust that i destroyed from the lights last night Rolling with laughter

I did the same thing recently to a group of lads in a Java RRSPORT a couple of weeks ago on the A811 Stirling to Loch Lomond road! They pulled out to overtake the old guy in his Stornoway HSE RRS but kinda got blown into the weeds and just couldn't catch up when I wellied it, so I assumed their's was a TDv6 version! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
