I have the following issue with my 2010 Range Rover. When am driving it, it will gave me massage on Dash Board that Gear Box fault and the Gear will not select anymore until I turn off the ignition and start again before it will start selecting.

When I ran diagnostic on it, I get TCM fault code P2704 "Transmission vision Element E apply time range/performance".

Any idea of what this is about and what can be done?

Hi all, I've just come home with a '59 plate (facelift) RRS 3.0 TDV6 HSE after trading in my '54 plate Disco 3.

I love the car so far, but I've only driven it for a day thus far. The wife loves it too and says it's quicker than the D3 and it doesn't roll as much in the corners, so it's a win-win!

It's a great car, with only one or two niggles for me to sort out before it becomes the perfect car!

Haha, I only got it home after dark last night and I left for work in the dark this morning! I'll try to get some over the weekend.

In the meantime I have a slight problem to look at - the rear passenger side door won't always unlock with the rest of the doors. Not sure if it's a lock that's sticking or it needs a new actuator just yet. (I negotiated this problem into the price so I'm not worried). Current: Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey

After looking and lurking around here for a while I've just picked up my new 'baby'. A 59 plate 2010 5.0 S/C with just 37,000 miles and LR Extended Warranty. Wow! That's all I can say. So pleased with it and enjoyed a 110 mile journey home on Saturday.

Goes like a scalded cat, (OK, so does the fuel but performance costs ).

This forum has been so useful for me in knowing what to look for, what might go wrong etc., so thanks to all of you who helped me without knowing.

New member on here so haven't read a lot yet ! Finally bought the car of my dreams a 58 plate tdv8 HST 3 weeks ago and have been blown away. It's black with black interior , 22" black and chrome overfinch alloys and chrome pack. Have ordered new chrome with black inserts RR front and rear lettering.Next will hopefully be upgraded lights front and rear !

Hi , I will be ordering our new rrs 2015 next week . Diesel 3.0 dynamic 7 seats causeway grey black leather panoramic roof soft close doors 3 zone air con heated and cooled vented seats headlight auto dip wifi mud flaps delux mats boot mat tow bar , I'm getting 22 alloys after due to the dealer won't fit them for collection .
Any else you think I should get . Total cost £75,000 . Hoping to get 5 year service pack and life shine for free .
