If you have access to a Gap Diagnostic IID BT tool, you can set DRL option on, and wire them into sidelights wiring, choose whether to wire with or without having them on, I prefer them on, choice of countries to pick from, as not compulsory in U.K. Use Scandinavia or similar. John

Johnski just to confirm if I wire them to the side lights and with the aid of an IID tool I can have the side lights and drl's permanently switched on with ignition by changing the lights settings to Scandinavian? RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

If you activate any of the DRL options in the CCF files it will also switch on Dipped Headlights and Tailights, there is no facility to just switch on Sidelights when just Ignition Switched on.

I've been a bit unsure of fitting DRL's myself since finding out the bumper needs cut, but your pics look great so I think I will do it.

Just found this thread which is exactly what i want to do with mine, did any of you have to take the bumper off to cut the hole and bond them in? I think tiger seal will do with it been black. Do they stay on at night or have you dimmed them some how? |
