United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black
This car is getting expensive already

So I've not long arrived home from picking up my first used RR Sport and absolutely loved the journey home. The car has rear headrest monitors and a dvd changer in the boot, they are cheap Chinese generic junk. There were no headphones in the car or remote and the picture on the screens is terrible, so I've bitten the bullet and ordered the rosen av8900 set. Will write a post and detail the install when they arrive.

Next thing is to get the car detailed and ceramic coated

Amen to that...
I had a whole list of improvements I wanted to make to mine when I bought it.
Unfortunately over £3k in repairs to simply keep it on the road in the first 4 months rather killed those plans!

The problem is that the cost of repairs is why they don't get repaired but rather sold on instead.

When I sold my TDV8 to a chap in the village, it went with a pile of receipts for work done in my tenure. They're expensive beasts if they decide to play up. You can be fortunate and get a good one that just requires servicing, but most have some issues that need fixing from time to time. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Decided now the rear monitors will also have iptv and a ps4 on
I received them today, delivery was quick from car audio stuff. I only ordered last night. Also ordered a firestick whilst they are on offer for 19.99

Did you buy with the complete headrests or just the screens?

Cheers

I bought the whole set, you have to fit the screens in the headrest yourself but they are already cut with the brackets installed. It's just a case of setting the width of the posts and feeding a cable down each post. I mounted the control box under the passenger seat and fed the wires under the centre console and tucked them under the carpet. Still got the hdmi and USB extension harness to do then dress the cables today, but tested it yesterday evening and had my iptv on it. I've only put that on cause its a bit different. All in all a very easy job to do but I did already have a supply there for the old cheap system
