More excitement for me today when I found the very much hidden rear cup holders!!!! I thought it strange there was no provision for it in the back but then found the little recessed handle in the rear of the centre console - ta da! Slide out cup holders - brilliant!

You can’t have kids!! The little .....people can find anything, anywhere and force crap in to the smallest of holes! My cup holders are anything but, today I found a Mac Donald’s chicken nugget complete with BBQ sauce. My daughter was saving it for her stuffed owl. Thank good Mc Nuggets never seam to rot and just go dry. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I do have a 9 year old girl however her car etiquette is exceptional so anticipating she will keep the RRS in the same fettle as previous family cars

So I fitted some new dealer plates today which look great, an oversized regular shaped plate on the back is just the job. Also had a fiddle with the luggage cover as it was rattling quite a lot, couple of bits of it appear to have come apart so realigned them and will see if that improves matters.

Straight through MOT this morning no issues at all which is great, mechanic very complimentary about the condition of the car. It also had a Winter protection clean, back in a few weeks for a full Winter Protection Detail which should set me up for grit and muck through the winter.

That is one sweet ride! What a great setting to take photos. And the number plates look so much better. I'm glad the MOT met expectations, so presumably the service next week will be very routine. (Hint you never know until it's done!)

Thank you for your kind words it looks cracking, colour really does change depending on the light. Yes the MOT was fine, tester complimentary about the car - as are most to be fair. The service I hope will be routine but like you say you never know.....will update when it’s done.

So it was 9 year service time today, I took it to T & S Norman in Shepton Mallet - will write a separate thread on these wonderful people.

You're very lucky to have a good indie. Pay him well! All this flying through MOTs and no serving issues is making me think your car is going to last FOREVER.
