United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Green (Balmoral?)?
I saw only one or two when I was looking and don’t seem very common at all. Thought they looked pretty classy, especially as none had privacy glass either and look great “out of town”.
I ended up with Stornoway grey though! 😂 2010 TDV8 - current - my first RRS, loving it so far......
2005 Cayenne S - handling defied physics and what a sound, so sod the mpg!
1995 Disco TDI- surprisingly reliable, shame about the peeling dash & other trim
Lots of other non 4X4's in between times.........

The various Greens (Aintree and Tonga)are rare.......... not as rare as gold though! A guy in the village had one and the only other one he had seen was in a James Bond movie.
I saw an Eiger Grey RRS and an Eiger Evoque yesterday and I don’t think it will be a very popular colour 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

I know it’s a lovely colour, my least reliable Land Rover product was a Zanzibar with black roof and black pack Evoque Dynamic Lux Plus in 2014 with a Tan interior

Ok so today didn’t go ahead - we weren’t able to marry up a mutually convenient time, more my fault for not realising my wife was working away today so I was needed for both ends of the school run. We have spoken and clearly he can’t wait around for me however I have an opportunity to go across on Tues morning, if it hasn’t sold by Mon eve then I fully intend to travel over Tues.

It will be a nail biting weekend........

Quick question - should the little LED light ‘circle’ around the headlight operate as a DRL or is it purely a sidelight?

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

If you are referring to the 10-13 sport headlights they are just sidelights, howerver I posted this a few years back and you can change setting in the CCF files to make them work as DRL's but the options are very limited and not possible to work on their own as DRL's. However I believe some member's have now modified the wiring with some links/bridge wires at the fuse box to allow this.

Hi,

Just as Reference have gone into the CCF files and there are three options listed for DRL's on my car a MY13 A/B 5.0L S/C.

1. DRL Standard
2. Scandinavian
3. Canadian

I activated Standard and all that did was give me two Fault Codes B124A-15 and B124B-15 which are Left and Right Daytime Running Light open Circuit but no working DRL's so it may be when you have either DRL lamp kit VPLSV0064 or 65 fitted you may have to activate this but that is purely a guess. By the way those kit's are over 400.00

De-activated that and then activated Canadian and what that did was nothing with ignition on and Engine Running, however when you engage Drive and let the Park Brake Off it Switched Front and Rear Side Lights and Dipped Headlights On, as soon as you apply P/B and take it out of Drive It switches them Back Off.

Again De-activated that and Activated Scandinavian and what that did was as soon as you Start Engine it Switched on Front and Rear Sidelights and Dipped Headlights.

There is no facility that I could find to just activate the Front Fairy Lights on there own as DRL's.

Cheers
Col

I recommend fitting the Osram LEDFOG101 DRLs with fog light replacement. Helps bring the car up to date.
https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic43475.html

I think DRLs are a must these days because so many vehicles have them then if you are not lit up you risk not being seen. The star-effect sidelights of our headlights, whilst cute in 2010, just don’t cut it.

OEM dealer fit DRLs look very ‘after market’, so I don’t like them. But these LEDFOG101s are epic. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!
