Good plan for a Rovertune assessment
I am a devoted Land Rover enthusiast so am biased but I would bet a beer or two you would miss it.

my sense now is even if I threw more money and went for a 2012 SDV6 I could be back in France next year with another problem they cannot fix. At least I now have ADAC a German breakdown cover I feel confident in.

Well LR Customet Service made various promises including not least what went wrong with the car and how they and LR France managed to lock my car down for three weeks. Despite emails and answerphone messages they have stopped corresponding with me.

If Pete is reading this please ask Sheetal why she has not got back to me in three weeks. Utterly appalled at LR Customer Servive and lack of interest in their customers.

LR are insistent that as Hunters sold me the car they must sort the key issue out at LR cost. IF I decide to keep the car then be assured I will go and see Rovertune.

It is worth saying that Rivertune on the other side of Reading is not easy particularly if I have to leave it there and do not have a replacement vehicle (even if there was an option to hire one from them for a reasonable price.)

Keith Gott in Alton is very convenient.

Agreed it's not easy to get to but I got a good feeling from them. Rob is very customer focussed. Very.

Did brake pads and a couple of other small things and half the price of yours and my dealer. All fine.

Hunters are pretty good I found and did a few things for me FOC under warranty - ACE bushes
Good news on Gotts - might use them for brakes etc.

Yes Dr Rob at least until November and maybe longer as it is a great drive. Had a loan disco sport for the day but base model. Ok but engine noisy and not very smooth. Enough boot room for our needs and could do worse, but nice to get back in the RRS at the end of the day.
