No need to travel anywhere.
Gary will send you an ATRIC box which you plug into your OBD port under your steering wheel.
In simple terms....

You download a piece of software from the website onto your PC.
You follow the instructions and use the ATRIC box to download your current car map.
You then USB connect the ATRIC box to your PC and the software takes it off the box and into a format file.
You then email that file to Gary so he can see what's going on.

Gary works his magic and sends a new map to you.
You then use the PC software to put it onto the ATRIC box.
You then plug it into your car and upload the new map.

It's all rather straight forward.

The ATRIC box can also be used to clear any fault codes or diagnose ones in the future as the box is yours.

Gary will tweak maps until you're happy.
He only needed to tweak mine once and I still smile when I catch people out on the motorway because they're up my arse and floor it!

Thumbs Up I was born with a photographic memory. Shame it didn't develop!

Hi Gaz, thanks for the info and explanation, sounds quite an easy process now. When it comes to the EGR side did you just blank them or do the pipe removal altogether ? and did the map cure the EML on the dash problem ? thanks in advance, this is one thing I want to get right.. Bow down 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!!

A forum member helped me blank off my EGR's and removed the pipes altogether.
My regular garage where I MOT my vehicle promote the advantages of blanking.
Gary's map, as long as you tell him will prevent any EML being illuminated.
Other maps provided elsewhere can do the same as it's a simple tweak I think.

I ran my 07MY for a few weeks after blanking and had no light come up but was in a position to get the mapping done so just did it.
If you blanked and waited with the map it won't hurt, even if you get a light up.
You would just need to sort it before MOT time. Thumbs Up I was born with a photographic memory. Shame it didn't develop!
