Urgent Help Please Sat Nav Screen Not responding to Touch

Just arrived in the Alpes and out of the blue my sat nav screen is stuck on the agree page, when I touch the agree button nothing, not responding to touch, removed disc and cleaned but still will not allow me to confirm agree on warning screen, MY 2008, can anybody suggest the issue or resolution, do not fancy driving back to UK without sat nav.

Many thanks

Where are you roughly? I am in Gaschurn, Austria and I have an IID Tool with me if that can help.

Yep, 400 miles.

The IIDTool is a diagnostic tool for reading fault codes and changing some parameters on the car.

Good luck with getting home.

Just an idea - try putting the passenger seat fully forward - disconnect & reconnect each connection at a time in the rear of the Sat Nav unit - never know it might reboot the system.

Good luck Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Sometimes some dirt can lodge inside the rim of the screen, this then stops it from responding to your touch, take the screen out and remove the screen bezel and check nothing is jammed in there, other than that you might need a new screen.
