Where are you roughly? I am in Gaschurn, Austria and I have an IID Tool with me if that can help. |

Just an idea - try putting the passenger seat fully forward - disconnect & reconnect each connection at a time in the rear of the Sat Nav unit - never know it might reboot the system.

Further update, I think it does not like the cold, lefts all day in the sun yesterday and worked fine every time, parked up for an hour and temperature had dropped to freezing and not working, will get it a thermal jacket!!! |

Sometimes some dirt can lodge inside the rim of the screen, this then stops it from responding to your touch, take the screen out and remove the screen bezel and check nothing is jammed in there, other than that you might need a new screen.
