United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Another fault

Hi guys, been having messages on start up special programmes off mainly in the mornings when the car is cold I was told it proberly the battery so yesterday I had the battery checked and was told it's good 85% life. So this morning I've come to work +3 degrees outside and now I get a new message HDC system fault!!! Can anyone help and shed some light as to what these messages mean this is my first RRS so I have no clue.

Check your brake bulbs. Also the brake pedal switch. Be worth checking the battery when cold before and after starting to see what the alternator is doing too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Ok so ive just checked the battery which i had tested and was told was fine, its a Bosch s3 013 90ah 720CCA . now is it just me or is the CCA not enough, reading other posts on here im thinking it should be 900cca

Diesel should be 90Ah 825A. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

So that battery is not powerful enough and could be my problems on these cold mormings.. Im looking at a bosch s4 battery or the s5 are they any good ?.

When I replaced my battery I just went to LR and bought from them. That was before the new, more expensive, AGM ones though.

The old battery appeared to be from a car rather than a RRS (it was significantly smaller) and was probably the reason that the alternator failed a month later... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

So from the size battery you mentioned mine being a bosch s3 90ah 720cca is way to small am i correct in saying that
