I have a 2006 Sport HSD. I live and have it serviced in France. The machanic has suggested that although my model did not come with Heated Front Seats it might be possible to activate them as the heating elements might be in the seats anyway?!?. Would be pleased to hear from anyone who might know the answer!! Andrew Kennedy

What model is the HSD? Here in the UK, we have the HSE which comes with heated seats as standard. I doubt there will be heated elements in the seats awaiting connection knowing how manufacturers will do anything to save costs.

I got in wrong.....it's an HSE. The machanic thinks Land Rover might have made 'one seat to fit all' as it were and if that is the case possible I could make use of the facility. Andrew Kennedy

Whilst not knowing the answer, I'd be inclined to agree with Ady. Manufacturers are generally not in the hadit of leaving relatively expensive items in the cars unconnected, just because they are not specced..........but would be interesting to find out if it is the case.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I thought the HSE had heated front seats as standard...or is that only in the UK? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It's worth a check, I remember on the Disco 2 everything was there, even the cables, all you needed were 2 switches. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
