Some toad has removed the glass from my sunroof. I have to presume the mechanism will be damaged, although the oik very kindly did not break any glass nor removed anything from the car (not much in there... A box of smints, a tax disc!)

Anyone had to repair this type of damage before? Not sure if I'll need to claim on my insurance or not.

Wow first it was our spare wheels then the head lights and tail lights and now the freekin sunroofs...are we all running round in rolling buffets for the local tea leafs.
like the chaisaw idea....Pity we can't rig a chainsaw up in the car, so just as the sunroof pops out the saw pops out behind it,.. messy but effective

Just terrible that one little can cause that much damage and get away with it. I thought our cars had a tilt sensitive alarm that would have gone off if anyone got on the roof - maybe not.

So the little gets £40 for your sunroof but you have to pay £1700 to replace it. Hope this isn't the start of a wave of thefts. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

What good is a sunroof to anyone - you can hardly retrofit it and why is everything so easily removed off these luxury vehicles

Doesn't make sense, a new sunroof glass is £105 inc vat. I had to replace mine after kids threw stones off a bridge on M5. Why try and pinch one? Barstewards! 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
