That's what I did. The ride is better, kerbs are much less of an issue - although I'm not as worried about kerbed wheels as some are. I actually ran 255/55/19 during the summer and the ride is better again, kerbs are not an issue at all and the wheel arches are filled much more than any 20 or 22 I've seen. Next year I think I'm going to get another set of 19inch rims and have some Duratrac fitted in 255/55 size. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Very informative thread this - most helpful. I have run winter tyres on my FWD Audi for the past 2 yrs and about to put them on for a 3rd season still with plenty of tread on them. They are excellent in performance and confidence building once temps get below 7-8c.
