United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

No great surprise there for me, muddy.

(expect lots of "I drive my RRS on summer tyres in the winter and it's fine" comments... Whistle Rolling with laughter ) 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

After ordering the winter tyres I have now discovered the "good Condition" alloys are not that good Rolling Eyes

Are they worth £200 and/or would you spend another £336 having them refurbished Confused

Lots of these wheels on ebay but not an approved size for rrs so had to avoid them or would have insurance problem here - my insurer does not need to be informed provided I fit in accordance with handbook ie 19 x 9J Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

MW - if you think they're poor you should have seen the ones I bought from a Forum member - "recently refurbed". He failed to mention that a 4 year old had done them. I got rid via Fleabay but lost £100 in the process.

I'm looking at winter wheel/tyres for the MINI and looks like I'll be buying new for peace of mind and sanity. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
Ex 2006 RRS SC - garbage
Ex 2016 135i M Sport - dream car
Ex 2003 RS6 Avant - piece of cr*p
Ex 2014 320d X Drive, M Sport Touring - ok I guess
Ex 2007 RRS TDV8 - bloody loved it
EX 2007 FL2 XS - not so bad

Yes.

No.

I'm considering a second set of 19in rims so that I can have a set mounted with winter tyres and a set mounted with AT for warmer use. I shall have a garage to store them in v. soon. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Interesting to see that they are MO-rated (for Mercedes Benz). Not a problem though, I think. Porsche rated tyres (N1, N2 etc) aren't recommended for other vehicles, however, as I understand it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I remember that Brad Sad

The above were on Fleabay and did not sell so gave him a ring and negotiated him down from £300 to £250 before I saw the state of them and discovered budget tyres. He described them as good tyres and condition but looking at the poor photos they will be worse when I get there Evil or Very Mad

Now agreed £200 without tyres and was considering refurbishment by http://www.mss-wheeldoctor.co.uk/index.php for £140 a set including vat but a very nice man has kindly offered to sort them Bow down

My local dealer offered new winter wheels for our mini when we had it - £420 I think but they will have put them up now for winter Rolling Eyes

Lots on Ebay and some near you I think - might be worth a look and offering cash but check them carefully - especially age Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Personally I wouldn't care too much about the state of winter wheels - that's the set which will be subject to salt/grit and kerbing cos you cant see where the kerb edge is hidden by snow etc. etc. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
