Agreed, it's well quilt'd 'innit, not my cup of tea @ Nick - agreed, PB do seem to turn out some amazing finishes, I've always said the same about KDS as they are only about 45 min drive from with similar, if not better, results. Just can't quite bring myself to part with the £'s though, especially as I have all the tools/products and dare I say skill to do it myself, its just time that I'm short of ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it ) GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black GONE:MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ivory/Grand Black Privacy glass |

Time is my downfall too, managed to get out on Sunday morning and clean mine and the wife's, and could see loads of thing I need to sort on mine, detarring, deironing for longer than I gave it, machine polish and then I want to give it another couple of coats of body wrap or their ceramic coat they mentioned a while back when it's launched, then just like the last car it will be time to swap just as I finish it |

Them cars love clean as f@ck! Silly question..... I'm guna polish my car this weekend but I've added a couple of coats of wax recently....do I need to remove wax before polishing or can I just stick it strait on? And any ideas of best polish to use on a silver vehicle? I use Meguiars wax and like all there products Java black 2006 |

The answers are limitless in all honesty, but you should use what you're happy with. When you say polish, are you trying to remove swirls/scratches or just hide the effects of them? Personally, on silver I'd use something like Carlack All in One and follow up with a sealant like Finish Kare 1000P. (both available from CleanYourCar) Or something from the Werkstat range, Prime followed by a few coats of Jett. (available from Polished Bliss) These are both sealants as opposed to waxes but will leave a great finish. Either of the above processes will remove any wax you have on the car, so no need to remove separately ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior GOING: BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (wish we'd kept it ) GONE: BMW F10 520D MSport - Carbon Black GONE:MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Sumatra/Ivory/Grand Black Privacy glass |
