What is difference between a sealer and a waxer? Can u use both? Or is one better than the other? Java black 2006

Sealents will generally offer you longer protection over a wax (ie you won't have to do it so often) and sealants tend to allow the flake of metallic cars to show through giving you a better shine (all a bit subjective though Whistle ) Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Carlack is good Thumbs Up
You'd usually go with a sealant, then top with a wax, but it's not always necessary.
The Carlack 'twins' as they are commonly called are also a great combo on lighter metallic cars. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

As Beancounter has said Waxes are made from Carnauba which is a natural plant extract and sealants are a man made product which offer greater durability to the Carnauba version

I obviously like Zaino when it comes to sealants Laughing Once you have protected your car with a Zaino Sealant there is a quick process you can do when you want to top it up which takes about 15 minutes to go round a Range Rover Sport when its just been washed.

Results wise (Well I do like posting my RRS up Wink )

These pictures were WITHOUT paint correction.

Oh and a cheeky pic of the S2000 too after a coat of Zaino

There is a couple of white cars in this link too Wink (not done by me)

Quick question Guys

I've always used Meguires NXT car shampoo followed by Meguires Gold class polish and finished with a couple of coats of Swissvax Mirage

If I wanted to introduce a seal prior to the wax coats, which one would best suit? RRS gone

The trouble with silver... looks great all the time... but much harder than the dark colours to make it look superb...

I had a Zambezi Disco 3, washed, polished, waxed, tyres blacked, the works, looked great all the time.
But people never commented on it...only on my black Subaru which was treated exactly the same way Laughing
And now people comment on the RRS (black of course) Whistle RRS gone
