England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

LR warranty seemed the easiest way to go for me - and have used it twice - first for bushes (they said they weren't covered but did them anyway) and then for starter motor - happy I have got my money back already - I think I paid £700ish for it.

I'm with Foxy on taking the worry out of it - I bet these cars can get V expensive without one. Jaguar XKR Convertible

Cheers Ady! I checked that site out and got a quote and it worked out £95 a month for that warranty cover. Would it b worth me putting the 95 quid aside myself and then if nothing go's wrong I've saved nearly a grand ova the year?

With these warranties you need to understand and accept they are actually an insurance policy..

Do you insure your car 3rd party and theft? or fully comp... If fully comp why not save money and stick with tpft... but we don't, because you're insuring against a large payout.... this is the same...you are covering "the big one"..ie failed turbo, total engine failure etc etc... which is alot more than £1k.

If you do not claim in the 12 months.. so be it... you've covered yourself....accept the lost premium and start over again the next year... you can guaranty the year you choice to stop insuring it, will be the year it fails big style.. RRS gone

My 3 year warranty ran out yesterday, after getting quotations from most of the alternatives I decided to go with the Landrover Approved warranty, at £780/year it seemed very competitive and you do not have to settle the bill in the event of a claim and then have to hope you get your money back!
