After discussions with various people at Land Rover, they have decided that they don't give a damn about their customers.

Terrible.. Just went and picked it up. Should have left it there. Within the first block, the car was pulling to the right severely. I thought I had a flat tyre. While stopped at the traffic lights, the bonnet then drops down. Some type of suspension issue..... The car then drove ok, for another 5km, then the suspension totally died. Got the warning lights on the dash, dinging etc. and the car was very very low. Bouncing down the road - it was so bad I had to limp home. Went to go up the driveway, and the car was so low that the tow bar scraped on the footpath. I have to wonder if these guys actually did any testing whatsoever- all I did was get in the car and try to drive normally. Didn't touch anything except headlights. Unfortunately I had to pick it up after hours, so couldn't turn around and take it back. VERY off at the moment. |

Still don't have my car back. Apparently the suspension failed when a service guy was driving it.......At least they have experienced the problem now. |

Yes I've had one of them... They told me at the time there were no LR loan cars... But I would later find out that there were some.. |

Picked up the car yesterday, apparently it had failed on them several times, and they are sure its fixed now.

Sounds to me like the dealer is just replacing parts and not properly diagnosing the problem. Continual compressor replacement is unlikely to fix the problem unless the new one was faulty.

To be fair, they only charged $2k instead of the $6k (they spent a LOT of time on it) but I get the idea that it was a "lets replace everything" kind of fix. Apparently the 2 week old compressor may have "burned out"........
