Thanks for the info guys, will read through it tommorow when im at the office and am pretending to do work - no doubt!

May even send the links to my sales man, who i have provided umpteen links and videos to already, he uses them to show off the RS4 to bump up the waiting list (my contribution to maintaining the residuals!!)

Had to do an emergency dash to heathrow today, with about 20 mins notice!! not good, but at least i got to spend some quality time with my RRS.. how old and dated is heathrow looking now!

Was with my sisters mother in law, so got to display a disabled badge.. mint, park wherever you want, and you actually get enough room to park the RRS in the disabled zones! no door dings for me today then.

Had this M3 taunting me on the way back, and flashed the rrsport.co.uk sticker to another java black tdv6 owner on the M6 near star city. Hopefully he got the message and didn't think i was trying to race him or something!

Wouldn't call it a new Merc mate! yet to see the thing with my own eyes..
Apparantly the owners got the plate on an old range rover they bought in 1981.. what a freebie.. well it would have been for me!

But KAM , I'll have to catch up with you in your new RS4 - maybe at the factory visit.

hehe.. thats if you can catch me!!
Scoped out a nice meeting place for the morning of the LR visit, should be good to go in convoy from there to LR. Bet the guy at the LR gates will think we are a load of complaining customers coming to blockade the gates or something! worth a pic at the gates i think.. Very Happy

Still trying to find somewhere suitable for the dinner afterwards,
Had this restaurant/bar in mind but a friend of mine had his rear window smashed of his X5 a few weeks back when he was grabbing a bite to eat after dinner in the car park, so think we should give that place a miss..

Yes he did have privacy glass, and yes he had his roller cover shut, lucky gits, he did have a £2k laptop in there though! CCTV shows jack as usual!

I was looking at the estimated prices for the RS4 Avant & Cabriolet and by the time I had customised to my own Spek I would be paying approx same as for that paid for my RRS Supercharged Shocked

I dont think I could justify that on an albeit " A4 " chasis. However I will be waiting with baited breath to see the replacement for the RS6 Cool

The RS6 is going to be some monster.
The guy who owns the red RS4 in the pics, p'exd his current RS6 Avant in and it was parked out the back, we gave that a start and the current one is awesome and by the looks of the S6, i think the RS6 is going to be an M5 eater. The interior of the old RS6 wasn't that good, but going on the pics of the new S6, i think they have sorted this.

But it'll be silly price though, I think. Might not get much change out of £65-70k.

Even though for the money and performance you get in the M6 it is a bargain compared to other supercars, i would rather spend the cash on an M5 which is essentially the same car but with 2 more doors!? Yeah the M6 may have slightly more performance, but its £20k+ more! Think Bmw got it very wrong with the strategy for that car.

nope... my dealer sold the demo car prior to launch, so it couldn't be used for demo runs.. the new owner took it on march 1st. Waiting for dealers next demo car which will be run for demos, on April 1st.. everyone with orders are lined up for demo drive then.. can't wait..

The audi garage specialist Fontain down in london, have on arriving tommorow and are selling it at £59999 with all spec, slight premium but UK car with 0 days waiting has got to be worth it.

Don't tell me you drove it?

Wish the RS4 had the DSG gearbox, ragged around in my sisters new A3 3.2 DSG Quattro last night, and the accelerator dip on downshift is very nice!! Such a small car with such a load of power is a nice change from the heavy RRS..

Yes !!

went up to invitation weekend with my cousin this morning and the sales chap took us out and then said i could have a go.

very nice and the sport button also changes the exhaust to give it a bit of growl and it is quick.....but have to wait for oil temp to hit 70 deg before it will rev out...and the brakes.......jeeeeeeezzzzzzz, you need a g suit.

asked about fancy transmission and auto box as my cousin would need that, but there are no plans for it on the RS4, will have to wait for the new RS6 with the Lambo V10 in it

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Excuse me for joining this thread rather late....... why Kam, you said the Sport was the dogs danglers so why an AUDI, a car that reps aspire to after a BM and a Merc C class?

Sorry guys but I think Audi are loosing the design plot just like BM, maybe their
designers are smoking the same weeds as Chris Bangle... and that gaping guppy radiator doesn't suit it at all. I used to like Audi's unstated appearance but now they all look like old mens' cars like the Rover 75 and look what happened to that. Sorry Kam, I don't mean to demean your decision to change but I wouldn't be seen dead in a car that looked like that, even an RS4 variant. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
