yeehaa, found the problem it was me a ham fisted muppet, when pushing the male connector into the female connector, I managed to bend one of the small pins  |

It sounds like you have lost the little brass/copper spring that holds the sensor in the pad if its a loose fit in it. They sometimes spring out and you don't notice.

Well seeing as my battery decided to go flat I still haven't had chance to sort this wee problem out, but I defiantly won't be joining the 2 wires together  |

My fronts are fine, but rears had about 2-3mm left on them, new pads new sensor new warning light ...bummer
Btw my light wasn't on before I changed pads and sensor |

Just a quick question, when I replace my rear pads (tdv8) will the pistons just push back into the caliper or do they work like a thread type piston and a special tool required?
