I've connected a few 'homelink' systems up to our control systems - just a matter of synchronising them, however it is a pain in the a**e - it can take a while for it to get working - once connected, I believe its fine - never had the customers come back to us yet |

I have the Homelink option in my RRS and also a Hormann garage door. The problem is I cannot get the one to speak to the other, programming the Homelink transmitter is a real pain and any advice would be much appreciated.

Personally I don't keep my remote in the car .... have seen too many cars stolen that potentially wouldn't have been if the thieves hadn't been able to open the garage and gates and simply drive out ! |

Stephen, I am referring to the Homelink remote which is built into the rear view mirror, it is an option on the 2011 RRS. As Tim says I'm not concerned about theft in this case, I just want to be able to use the built-in remote for my own convenience as opposed to carrying the Hormann remote. |

Success! After much fiddling I have managed to get the Homelink in the RRS to control the garage door and outside lights.
