Not really depends where you get it done. |

I'm still amazed about the bit where a forklift dropped it off.

Thanks. No guards, but it did catch my eye. In the last MoT advisory, an oil leak was noted (not excessive), but I thought this was a common RR problem—just not to this extent. The case is still under investigation with auction house. Do you think it’s worth taking the risk to fix this issue or should I walk away? Got this for £2400. |

Oil leaks aren't a common problem. Quite simple, really.

Trays missing is a red flag ...needs the bottom power washed and then you can locate the problem.

Hi, thanks for your response. They got back to my complaint on Friday with the typical terms and conditions reply, stating that 'as a buyer,' I must satisfy myself by arranging a viewing before bidding. Essentially, they are saying I should have paid £10 to view the vehicle unless it was advertised without any faults (listed as 'runs and drives' with Primary Damage: Minor Scratches). However, they are completely ignoring my concern about the damage caused by their forklift. I am now waiting for their response again. |

Cars aren't designed to be picked up by forklifts. It's quite simple, really. And if they don't have the correct equipment to pick up a vehicle, they shouldn't be doing it at all - other than stuff being scrapped in which case it matters not one jot. But something that's sold as a runner, forklifts just aren't acceptable. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
