I couldn't get sound on mine without hard wiring phone, however just switched settings on factory unit to AUX and changed carplay wifi setting to 149 (5G) and now have sound |

Connecting initially with the cable had been my plan this morning, but as luck would have it I didn't need to.

I did the same… About £100 and 3 hours to upgrade the built in nav maps, the time and money would’ve been much spent installing CarPlay in the first place. Glad to hear you’ve got it all up and running. On a side note, has anyone noticed an occasional stutter while streaming music from phone? |
