I'd happily pay for someone to reprogramme gearbox for me.

UPDATE

Today was interesting, the fuel filter is now changed, the old one was all rusty at top, Primed up and engine started.

So i thought i'd read the dtc's again to see if that had cleared any of the PCM codes, well nope it didn't.

As a passing thought i investigated the injectors these are the values i was getting:

Cylinder balancing offsets:

#1 - 700
#2 - 600
#3 - 600
#4 - 600
#5 - 645
#6 - 1400

When i rev engine to approx 1100rpm all values go to 1000.015

Here is the codes on the PCM side of things (Current)

1. P1335 - 21
2. P0191 - 24
3. P0191 - 65
4. P0269 CYL 3 contribution
5. 0x000 watchdog reset ?????? no idea what this gremlin is
6. P140E (sensor c)

When i try to move vehicle back and forth it really struggles to move

The EGR system i have blanked but not deleted from software.

It's probably using 3rd gear, which is one reason why it doesn't want to move.

Looking at those injector offsets, one seams very high. 6
Trouble is, injector and cylinder numbers are different!

Probably cylinder 3 injector needs changing as that is the one will the ballance code. Think that is the drivers RHD, rear.

Of course with fuel pressure error codes anything could be happening.

I guess I worry that you have fitted a Euro 3 engine to a Euro 4 car or other way round.

Maybe some pics of the top of the engine may inspire some thoughts from people.

You don't have any of the old parts from the old engine do you? What was wrong with the old engine and gearbox?

Afternoon Andy.

I dont have the old engine nor gearbox, they been scrapped buddy.

The engines were identical in comparison and both stated 276DT on the rocker.

The rear fuel belt didnt need timing. Unlike the other models and the HPFP is the one from the original engine with the injectors.

The only thing different on this engine is that i've blanked the egr's.

The old engine oil pump failure the common snap off issue, which caused catastrophic damage to engine, bits everywhere, which also resulted in smashing the starter motor which then smashed the gearbox bell housing.

UPDATE

Probed the injectors today

Inj 1 - 199.6
Inj 2 - 199.6
Inj 3 - 200.3
Inj 4 - 199.7
Inj 5 - 199.9
Inj 6 - 199.3

I checked also if any of the solenoids were going to ground all passed.

I still changed Injector 3 (To see if it would cure the contribution/balance issue)

I'm waiting on a replacement fuel rail pressure sensor then i'll fire it up and see what happens.
