skilachi@ I think you're referring to the security updates which are dealer or Land Rover Assist install only, rather than the Pivi Pro updates which should come OTA. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

I have exactly the same scenario - took delivery in Dec 23 and have seen no evidence of any update. Recently I was at Dunkeld LR Experience and sitting in a RR Vogue when an update appeared. My car was 20 feet away but no update. According to my LR Experience instructor they seem to come out once a month approximately. My RRS is scheduled to go in to get the nearside rear window re-bonded in a few weeks - I will bring it up then.

Hello @bimjim, how do I check which version of Pivi installed on MY24 D300 MHEV?

I've gone yo settings, Live Apps, and selected Software Updates as shown in image below.

Hi A that is not Pivi OS version. Go to settings/software update (scroll down to bottom). If you have had a SOTA you will have a version. If not it will be blank. Only way to determine Pivi version you have Is to look through release notes and look at features you have or don’t have and you should be able to work it out. (Link to release notes posted by @scrumps above.

The Live apps you refer to is things like weather/software etc and will show you a version if you have had updates.

There is yet another menu for updates which is the navigation maps. You also get these OTA but only home country. Full updates can be downloaded onto USB using link I posted earlier in thread.

I don’t think a version shows until you’ve received the first update. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

Update issue continues - no download since reset, so car going to dealers for a few days whilst I am away for them to check and reset each module one by one to see that is stopping the OTA updates for Pivi.

Will report back with result. Think I am currently 9 versions behind!

JDPRRSUK,,

Has your update issue been solved?

I’m awaiting your report before having a go at my dealer as I’ve had no SOTA since delivery on 31/10/23!

@scrumps this is what I got back from dealer. Collect car in morning.

“We carried out manual update to Infotainment control computer unit.

We also updated telematics control module, which has allowed live updates to work.

Once live updates work, issue is resolved and because ICCM was updated manually it is at the latest version.

Screen won’t show software update now until new SOTA update is pushed when it’s available.

We also sent data from your vehicle to technical department at JLR who advised that everything on your vehicle is up to date and software is at the latest version now.”

🤞🤞

@scrumps Just picked up car and all done and working fine. Apparently there were seven versions of Pivi to update and they are done in version order! There were also a number of Live Apps updates and now everything works fine. Noticed some differences (positive) in speed of Pivi, mapping in IDD etc. There are also drivetrain changes, updated software for brakes etc.

Think the TCU was blocked - now reset and should get future updates via SOTA 🤞 No version control until then showing but told from JLR computer now on v.4.1.6

JDPRRSUK,

Got the car back yesterday.

Looks like my dealer has done exactly what yours did, now awaiting first SOTA to confirm they are loading correctly but as latest have been “forced”, I don’t know when that will be!

Also told them of the problem under thread “Wakey Wakey” so they have installed three updates to the ADAS system - slightly concerned why safety system updates aren’t covered by SOTA, but that’s a question for another day.

I’ve just noticed PIVI 4.2.0 is now released which is supposed (according to the release notes) to improve the SOTA capability!! Very Happy

First SOTA download has arrived Pivi Pro OS 4.2.0 . Apparently its been downloaded to the vehicle. I have installed it twice now. Seems to work. ( I lock the car and leave for 30 mins) next time I drive the car I get a message that the update is ready to install again....

Anyone else.....? MY 24 D300 Dynamic
