Update 4.2.0b claims to have fixed the problem of:

– CarPlay / Android Auto icon on the home screen opens the incorrect screen.

It might have done but N912 has put the issue back in again.

N912 also messed up my CarPlay icon, but it sorted itself out after an ignition cycle thankfully. 2024 RRS L461 P460e AB

I've gone from getting timely updates to nothing. My last was in early August previous to that they were coming through within a few days of release. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

I have resolved the Android Auto issue by rebooting Pivi Pro. (Hold the telephone symbol on the stg wheel for ~25 secs until the centre screen goes blank and restarts, then let go).

Not sure why that should be necessary but this is JLR we are talking about.

On the bright side, and despite seeing nothing about it in recent release notes, I seem to suddenly have more EV range on my 460e. I managed 61 miles EV as part of a 95 mile hybrid run last week and it is showing 59 miles range today after a full 100% charge. I have never seen more than 54 miles before in the 12 months I have had the car.

Anyone else seen this? L461 P460e AB

After 4.2.0b had to wait a week or so for the N912.. it arrived on the middle of a long journey and apparently installed without a hitch during a service station break.

However after 700 miles, parked up and three hours later got the alert from JLR tracker that they had lost contact.! Went outside and car was locked , alarm sounding and couldn’t open door with either key.

Called LR Assist who were brilliant. Arrived within an hour or so, said straight away it was a dead battery after N912 had repeatedly tried to install. Quick boost and forced install and all is well again. Apparently been a few issues with this update!

Has anyone with an MY23 car received the latest updates?

For just over a year I was getting them within a week or so of release, but the latest ones haven’t come through. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

Mines gone the opposite way, mine was always showing atleast 58 miles on a full charge and now it's showing 51 each time after a charge. I thought it was because the temperate outside is dropping

EV range of PHEV vehicles is not standard. There are algorithms in the control units that establish the autonomy based on the history of the driving style, the temperature and the distance covered in the previous charging cycle

I have a my23 P510e and my last update was in August and no sign of anything since then, I was wondering if these new updates are for my24 only ?

Anyone know if this is the case 2022 P510e RRS AB Frenze Red

That might be the case, although I don't think there was anything in the release notes.

My parents have an MY23 Evoque and that's also showing the last update as August. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

Anyone in UK got 4.2.1 yet? Supposed to be quite a big update. A few reports of receiving it on US forums.

Nothing on mine. I'm still stuck on the early August update, 4.2.0 I think. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE
