SVR Carbon bonnet issues & repair - warranty claim night

Hi - I've got some weird mark on my carbon bonnet on my SVR. (pictures attached) - Land Rover are claiming it's not repairable under warranty but I also discovered a SSM from Land Rover that seems to describe the exact symptoms... SSM 75913.

Anyone else had this issue and did you get LR to fix under (extended) warranty or repaired elsewhere.

How does that happen? Think it should be fixed under warranty?

Looking at the location it looks like heat damage which has destroyed the lacquer Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

What in the engine do you think caused that heat issue?

It is the paint clear coat peeling off of the top of the carbon fiber gel coat due to UV damage. It’s caused by the clear coat not being thick enough to provide proper UV protection. It should be fully repairable. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE

Did you resolve this with Landrover? I’ve got similar laquer peel on exposed carbon bonnet, car is going to main dealer on Monday for security update and will ask them about warranty claim (car is 2018 though so out of usual period, only chance is under anti corrosion warranty).
