Forgot to add these additional errors come up on scan when you switch on lights and engage gear.

It would be worth going around the car ensuring the various earthing points are tight/connected/not corroded. Bad earths can cause a number of error issues.

No point measuring the voltage at idle, measure the battery after its been standing at least overnight.

In the wiring loom are splices. This is where 3 or more wires join (crimped) together and get blue tape wrapped around them.

Thanks Andy…. Yes you are right the green wire splice joint was not making contact and my key fob did not work, joined them and soldered now back have a working key fob. Looking to re-splice and solder all the blue tape joints…thanks for the pointer about the red wire, will look for that next…with the passenger seat removed I can access the whole loom in the sil. Will update if the red wire splice sorts the transmission error. |

Respliced and soldered the red wires found in the passenger sill loom unfortunately still have the same error.

Reading up on a few forums …i believe it’s a voltage supply issue to the gear shifter if the headlight trick works, so will be looking at the fuses on the BCM fusebox.
