My rear one's light up and can adjust the brightness with the dimmer switch, although none are what you would call exceptionally bright when turned right up, the actual rear window lock switch icon does show up brighter than the actual window switches though on the drivers door switch control panel though, however there is no illumination to the rear switches if the the rear window lock switch is on.

Everything lights up on mine as well, window switches and ambient lighting on the levers and handles. Had to replace the left rear door ambient light unit since the handle bit wasn’t working as well as the driver’s window switch since one of the mirror buttons didn’t go red when pressed or the mirrors folded in. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

I guess L/R's logic is if the rear switches are disabled you don't need to see them in the dark.

Open either rear door and look for the REAR light (above rear bench side passenger head) lights up. My bet is they don't do it in any L320.

No, they don't unless you do the wiring mod same as on previous years. The interior lights, whether off or on auto have no bearing on the front and rear window switch light illumination, the switch illumination only works if ignition is on and lights are switched on. Cheers Col |

No lights at all when you opened the rear door? Should get the front center light, front footwell lights, cargo light and the puddle lights under the rear doors coming on, if the lights are set to on with the doors open (hold the center button a few seconds, as previously mentioned).
