First world problem but does anyone have a photo of the inside of the cupholders near the gear lever?

Had our car valeted and now the cupholder "inserts" come out easily with the cup attached

Suspect the vacuum has removed something which holds them in but i can't recall what it is

They probably removed that thing called friction. Likely they removed them and wiped everything down inside so now the liners slip out as well as grabbing cups better. I wipe the outside of the liners and inside of the holders with clean water and cloth so they stick to each other better. Works 90% of the time. Born and raised in So Cal. Moved to the UK in 2018 for a few years. Now in Poland and looking at moving back to the UK.

Clean the bottom and bit of 3m double sided tape or a bit of velcro job sorted.
