The Asimmetrico doesn't appear on Pirelli's UK web site any more so possibly isn't going to around long in the UK anyway, if one can source some. ITSR Pirelli called it all season but it's pretty sketchy as one, I think.

I bought a second set of wheels for the winter with 275/45/21s on. PITA to swap though.

PITA because of the weight/bulk? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I’ve been running 285/45R22 for 2 years without issue. Benefits: slightly softer ride due to taller sidewall, more choices in that size, less expensive in that size. Downsides: feather rub on full turn lock when the tires were brand new, now that they have worn it doesn’t happen anymore.

The height the car needs to be raised (use a couple of trolley jacks normally as the scissor lift in the garage has a car parked over it) and the weight of the wheels (difficult for weakling-me to remove without touching any part of the brakes). When doing, though, does give the opportunity to clean wheels and calibers properly.
