The dealers are clueless. The throttle causes the error code and the error code suspends DPF regeneration. The DPF will clog again. Go to YouTube and look up a guy called OReillys Mobile Mechanics. He's put out some good videos on this issue on JLR vehicles and shows how to clean the DPF without removing it. |

They did a software update when I had my throttle body replaced. Don’t completely know why it had to be done, but it’s been fine since the throttle body change.

Hi. Did you ever get yours sorted fully? I've 2015 RRS and going around in circles. P24A4-97 Diesel particle filter restriction- soot accumulation too high - bank 1 State: Intermittent P0234-77 Turbo/supercharger overboost condition State: Intermittent I have had my DPF flushed and a brand new throttle body installed. Keep getting the same issues over and over. My turbo pressure is fine and no whines and evident smoke. But something still isn't right. |
