Truth is insurers never pay out what the value is on signing policy, as the car will have been devalued with use (so they will say).

the response from AXA is that you cannot do that as you're under insuring your vehicle... what i dont understand and the women on the phone was as wet as a used kleenex, is thats my choice. the insurance covers the finance so i would potentially lose 10-15K |

Has anyone called LAND ROVER INSURANCE, I called to enable the 7 day drive away insurance on my new Sport, I was informed by Land Rover Insurance that they will only offer a 24 hr drive away police, to cap it all they informed me that Land Rover Insurance will NOT insure a new RR Sport |

The ‘same price for any car’ affinity* car insurance scheme that my employer provides will not accept Range Rovers unless they are garaged overnight! I suspect very few people garage a SUV on a regular basis. I was told that c.3,750 RRs were stolen last year, of which only 1 in 4 were recovered (facts that I have not sought to check). Says a lot about both the desirability of the cars and their security systems.

It is hilarious that Land Rover will not insure its own cars, RRSports have always been desirable even if they are not owned by the drivers Lol, it shows what confidence Land Rover have in their tracking system Lol. |

Well they quoted on one for me a couple of days ago. But it does seem to require that you already have a policy with them |

I've been watching the cost of insurance raise in recent months whilst I've been waiting for my new P440e AB to arrive. Last Nov the quote from Go Compare was £900, with no convictions or speeding, max NCD, in a locked garage at night and living in rural Norfolk.
