Thanks again for all your help and support - after 12 months waiting, car finally built and ready to collect this Friday.

Any recommendations on what to check ? Have already checked fuel filler cap locks, both flaps aligned to bodywork, dealer offered £1k reduction for lack of meridian 3D.

The bench of the rear seat in mine is a bit creaky, so that might be worth checking. I've not had mine looked at yet.

There have also been reports of misaligned tailgates.

Great to hear Sam - no it wasn't - i reused a great reasoning posted on this forum - i.e. it costs £1200 to upgrade an SE to 3D. I also managed to get free rubber mats and boot liner.

Good luck with our collection and hope you can get something similar.

Happy you got your P440 delivered and I'm now thinking if i did the right thing changing my P440 to a P460 order. Does this mean the P460 aren't even shipping yet ? Regards

Hi DJ - my original order was placed in August 2022 - I still haven't received a build date for that order - I was able to get the P440 due to another cancelled order the dealer had. I still have my original order and plan to get the P460...lets see when the build date eventually comes through.

In the short term, wanted to sell my wife's 8 year old L494....with her short journeys, the oil dilution issue meant 3 montly visits to the dealer for an oil and filter change - became quite tiring.

Thanks again to all of your for your support and help with my numerous questions.

Some minor issues on collection:

* Bonnet showed 2 areas of bird muck which seems to have been polished over - lets see if my detailer can fix

* fuel filler flap poor fit - will address if car has to go in for other work

* dirvers side back bumper lower part has some paint imperfection which makes it look like a dent - again, minor

Car feels great, getting 58 miles on a full charge. Car feels better build than the Porsche Taycan I took delivery on 2 weeks before.

Looks great! How is the standard Meridian sound system so far?

I would describe the standard Meridian system in mine as adequate. Certainly not as good as the Meridian Surround I had in my previous Jaguar.
