You'll pay way more than 3k for an engine supplied and fitted. Really hope it isn't that. 2 new turbos supplied and fitted was near 4k at an indy specialist, never mind main dealer. |

If it’s not been serviced in a long time, download the check sheet from topix (there maybe a copy on the site in someone’s profile) and ask him to perform all the checks and fluid changes. Also ask him to check the fuel pump relay and if he can, check for fuel pressure from the pump. I suspect you may need a new pump and relay. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Will do thank you, well my mate couldn't make it he had to do somthing with his bird, so I've had a little look and seen 2 videos on changing the fuel filter doesn't look hard at all, looks very simple would to be possible that I could do this myself? Also could it be possible the reason it ain't working is down to the wiring on the fuel filter? Thank you. |

I don’t think the filter will have any wiring but it would be worth replacing if it hasn’t been serviced in a long time. If you mean fuel pump, I think there may be 2, one in the tank and one else where. The one in the tank is bound to be a PITA, because of where it is and how to get to it.

The original post is 5 years old, I think it unlikely you will get a response now from the O.P, but you may be lucky.

Mine was the chain on the inlet on the passenger side broke. It a small chain that does the inlet cam not the main one that goes to the crank that’s why the engine was spinning ok still. |

Hi Paul, thanks so much for your reply. I suppose a broken cam chain is better than a broken crank!!
