Yes to our D3 and its very good as long as your fbh actually works as it should in normal conditions.

Not built in.

The heater itself must shut down when hot

Tried fitting the gizmo. Worked then stopped. I've been told to cut the 2 yellow wires on the burner. 😱
Is that correct advice?

If the fitting instructions that come with it then cut it, it's an improved version of mine looking at it.

If it doesn't work then just reconnect the yellow wire back again

Oh They want you to cut the CAN bus wires. This will stop the car turning the heater on. Personally I wouldn’t.

It is stopping when you unlock the car or open door?

Without touching the remote one morning, check heater is still working by starting car at 4C or below.
Ensure climate control panel is ON

If unlocking the car is upsetting the heater :

People recommend :

1 Turn the remote heater off ~2 mins before you unlock car. To allow heater to shut down and be ready to restart with engine
2 if you forget to do the above and confuse the system. Turn the climate control panel Off then On while engine running.

You are meant to turn the remote heater off at some point. By pressing button A or B depending how it is configured. What do instructions say? Test by listening to the relay click or put an led light (yellow) in the grill connect to the blue wire.

If you don’t turn the remote off before unlocking car. Then turn it off at the end of journey.

Leaving the canbus untouched. I don't have screen climate as mines a 2008.
Seems to be working OK now that I've actually pressed the off button before starting her up.
