I did read somewhere that the car would only require re-mapping if the EGR valves were removed totally. If they are just blanked off, they can operate as necessary but obviously, don’t actually do anything.

There is another post about the 2.7 concerning EGR valves. Contact Bell Services for advice and re-mapping. |

Thanks for your reply, as both sides of my car are non functional, I guess a remap will be required. There seems to be lots of info on blanking pre 2007 2.7 cars online, but less for a 3.0 tdv6 with a DPF. |

There’s a lot less on 3.0’s since they aren’t a slap it on and go fix. You’d need the EGR’s mapped out as well as the DPF (they work together) and then the DPF removed and “reworked” so it doesn’t clog. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
