United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Nara Bronze
Not another FBH question...

It's that time of year so I have upgraded the FBH on my 2010 TDV8 to have timed climate and remote start.

Using a guide on here I enabled the following using my IID tool.

IIDTool Menu->Car Config->HVAC Ventilation->
Fuel Burning Heater is equal to Fitted parking heat
Timed Climate is equal to Enable
FBH Call Start is equal to Fitted radio

And bought and installed the following parts.
LR008654 Antenna
LR036695 Module T91R
LR027493 Remote Fob

My question is I have seen that there are at least 2 types of Fob available, one with an On/Off button and the other like the one I have in the pic below which was sold to me at a T91R remote.
So which one is the right one for my setup as I've seen posts saying to get the one with the on/off button but they seem to have the same part number LR027493?

TIA

That's the one which I have for my 2010 YM TDV6 and it works fine.

You'll find the instructions for how to pair it in a much earlier post. If I remember correctly, you pull fuse 2 from the front fusebox next to the battery, then replace it and press the fob's "off" button withing 30 seconds or so.

I have to say that this is the best mod I've ever done on any car!

Good luck.

This is what I have on my tdv8,,, I don't know if the difference between the 2 is that one system gives interior heat and the other just fires up the FBH to pre warm the engine coolant,,,, lm sure I've read something on those lines.

black perforated leather

The timed climate works great, so I'll give the fob another go over the weekend.
Cheers

So I've been out and had another play this morning and I can't get the fob to pair with the receiver no matter which way I try. Fuse out wait put it back in and hold off button etc.
I've also double-checked my ccf file and it looks right to me.

I'm pretty sure I have the wrong fob so hoping someone can confirm that I should have the one with the on/off buttons and not the one with the fan and the wavy lines, please?

Hi, I have the T91R module fitted to mine, but after reading many posts on the forums I went for the T90 remote ?, The one with on and off on the buttons, and it paired up very easily with the module, and I have my CCF set the same as you. But I would have though having a T91R module and a T91R remote, they would have talked to each other, the remote must have been made to talk to something.
