I am now the owner of a RRS HSE MY2006 in Santorini black. A perfect match for my D4 also in black. We have had D2s and a D1 before and are getting to grips with the luxury of the RRS.

It came with the turbo actuator problem and that will be done next week. Can anyone tell me whether this age and engine 2.7 Diesel requires a body off fix for the turbo?

Hi from New Zealand, I’m a life time owner of Range Rover, you’d think I’d know better by now !

I’m driving a 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 that I’ve owned for 7 years .

Pretty much had to fix everything except diffs and gearbox . Still enjoy this car immensely. I’m getting it ready for light off road
Duty.
Wish list is 2” Lift, Compomotive wheels, BFG Mud terrain tyres and Snorkel .

Any other mods for off road use on this vehicle ? Your suggestions would be gratefully received 😀

I have 2010 V6.
Anybrother know or had their insurance company ask for proof of tracker and immobiliser? They say I am not covered for theft until I do!! However, I can find NO proof of this in logbook etc from factory.
If anyone can enlighten me on how to sort this probably common issue, please reply 👍🙏 cheers.

Hi just thought i'd say hello. I'm currently hoping to go and view a 2009 HSE RRS tomorrow, it has high mileage (97k) but has a full LR dealer history and comes with a 12 month parts and labour warranty. The car has lots of extras fitted and is a 1 owner vehicle.
I have always wanted a RR and hopefully this is the one. A few months ago when my current car was being serviced at the garage i always use I said to the guys I might start looking for a RR, they told me not to bother as it will cost me a fortune. Can I ask what should I expect with a car like this with high mileage bearing in mind it has a full dealer history and all receipts. i was thinking dealers don't usually give 12 month parts and labour warranties on cars they expect to be a problem.
All advice would be very welcome.

Nice to be here, got to be honest I’ve read a few posts on here and gleaned far more info than from other forums, one of which looks all very “bling-y”, and takes a few tens of quids to get some really daft responses (don’t think I’ll be paying for that again.

Hi all, new owner here. Just picked up an 55 plate 4.2 v8 on Friday and I absolutely love it. Already done 300+ miles and averaged an mpg of 18.2 😅

Dan here, located in North Lincolnshire. Getting back into the LR world had 2x Freelanders and 2x D2s in the past my last D2 was my pride and joy. Had it magazine featured, took it overlanding in the mountains of Spain etc. Was big on the D2boysclub forum and shows.

Been away for some years but have put a deposit down on a 2010 RRS HSE in Stornoway Grey, Black Leather.

Have some ideas of what I’d like to do to it mod wise but time to get researching….
