Warped brake disks

When I brake, there is a bit of a shudder through the steering wheel. It disappears as soon as I stop braking.

Are my brake disks warped? They have been on the car for a couple of years.

Yes,

When you stop at traffic lights, use the park brake, not the foot brake to prevent this

They are a bit worn so I might as well replace them.

Not necessarily?

There are other things that might cause this, like sticky pistons

Do you get a "pulsing" sensation through the brake pedal at all as this can be a sign of warped discs as well, especially if they are bad.

Cheers

Isn’t there a place in Amesbury that will skim the discs whilst fitted to the car. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Just measured the disks and they definitely need replacing.

There isn’t a pulsing through the brake pedal, just a shudder on the steering wheel.
