I think it genuinely is a big job. When I had the inlet manifold changed on my SDV6, it was a whole day with two blokes on it. Apparently there is a lot of stuff that has to come off and then go back on which takes the time. This is with an indie, not a dealer looking for an excuse to charge a fortune and take an age doing the job. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks for the replys, if i had a decent indi local to me i would get them to do the work no problems. as i dont then im left to do it myself.

That's why I had both done when one split last year. The biggest cost in the job is the labour required to do it and half of the stuff needs to be taken off whether you do one or both sides. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
